Guests for Tuesday January 17

Dalton Kellett

Dalton is a Canadian whose heart is in racing. He started competing when he was 14, in karting. Academics has been a counterpart to most of his racing career. In 2015, he graduated with a BS in Engineering Physics (Materials Option) from Queen’s University.

Dalton have a passion for science and technology and is a strong supporter of STEM education and initiatives. He finds the technical side of racing fascinating. Outside of racing, he likes to unwind by playing guitar, rock climbing, skiing in the winter, and white-water kayaking in the summer when the schedule allows. Although Dalton lives in Indianapolis, he also enjoys spending time at home in Canada with friends and family.

Racing Career – 2016 was Dalton’s first year competing full time in Indy Lights, earning a best finish of third at the Freedom 100.

In 2015, Dalton joined Andretti Autosport for his second season in Pro Mazda where he finished second at Iowa.

2014- Rookie year in the Pro Mazda Championship

2013 – Competed in USF 2000, competed in one Indy Lights race (Baltimore)

2012 – Rookie year in USF 2000

Nico Jamin

Nico started racing quite late, when he was 15, by seeing his father driving in Europe. Before trying to become a racing champion, he had the ambition to become a tennis professional.

Nico played tennis for 12 years (from 3 to 15 years old), then he had knee problems which forced him to stop.

That is when Nico discovered racing and it’s his new target – to become an IndyCar champion in a few years by growing up through the Mazda Road to Indy. Apart from that, he’s an ambitious and competitive driver. Nico is always concentrating on his goal during a race weekend, but does enjoy having laughs with friends when he has the occasion!

Racing Career – 2017 will be first season competing in Indy Lights as well as first season competing with Andretti Autosport.

2016 –  Rookie season competing in the Pro Mazda championship, finishing third in the championship and winning two races and six podiums

2015 – Won the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship with 10 wins, 13 poles and podium finishes in all but one of the 16 races.

2014- Rookie season for USF2000
