Danica Patrick announces she’ll attempt to qualify for the Indianapolis 500

November 17, 2017 donkay

Danica Patrick will be taking part in the 2018 Indianapolis 500.

Patrick, who is contesting her last NASCAR event with Stewart-Haas Racing, made the announcement at the NASCAR finale at Homestead-Miami-Speedway.

The 35 year old said she didn’t think she’d ever take part in the Greatest Spectacle In Racing again, but explained that when her manager mentioned it, the thought of it really excited her.

Patrick also confirmed that she will be running the Daytona 500, and expects that the two biggest Motorsports events in North America will be her last two races… ever.

No teams were announced at this time.
