Rich, Dick Simon’s son, served as a chief mechanic. Rich had extensive experience as a mechanic in CART. Rich joined the team after his commitment to Patrick Racing ends at the end of this CART season.
When Dick Simon closed the race team Rich continued as a chief mechanic for several teams. Rich was with the AJ Foyt team. Upon leaving the Foyt team Rich went to work with Robbie Gordon.One of the true high lights for Rich was as Crew Chief for Todd Bodine and his NASCAR Truck Series team. During while working with Todd they won 2 NASCAR Truck Championships.Most recently Rich has been the biggest seller of Harly-Davidson Motorcycles in Las Vegas. From there he went into real estate selling Time Share. Now Rich has his Real Estate sales license and is selling real estate for Aspire Realty Group in Las Vegas.
