CROWD PLEASING WATSON’S READY FOR POCONO VINTAGE-

Many cars celebrating the workmanship of historic car builder A.J. Watson will shine on the ‘2018 Vintage Celerbration at Pocono Raceway’ promoted and managed by Classic Racing Times.

Included on the impressive list is:

Bob McConnell’s 1961 Leader Card Special Offy #7 which nailed down second place at the 1962 Indianapolis ‘500’ with Len Sutton doing the driving chores.

And for the first time in public in over 40 years the 1955 USAC Champion D/A Lubricants Offy #1 formally driven by Bob Sweikert. This car, currently in the Stan Lobitz colection is being massaged back into perfection by local Sprint Car ace Paul Koch.

These highly regarded cars will join a list of close to 50 entries this weekend for the 2.5-mile group. A group that includes Classic Indycars, Champ Cars, Super Modifieds and Sprint Cars.
