CHRISTMAS IN JULY, MEET THE DRIVERS, RACING, & MORE SATURDAY JULY 28TH

Join us this Saturday July 28th for one special evening of events. It is Christmas in July at the Tom Wood Group Indianapolis Speedrome Powered by Lincoln Tech. This is the kickoff effort for the Tom Wood Group’s annual Avondale Meadows YMCA Toy Drive. Fans who bring a new, unwrapped toy this Saturday night will receive $2 off their spectator admission. Many of the kids and their families from the Avondale Meadows area will be with us Saturday for a night of racing and fun. Spectator gates open at 4:30pm with autographs at 6:15pm and racing at 7:30pm.

Besides the annual awesomeness of the Speedrome autograph session, there are many other cool things going on at this Christmas in July. Santa Claus is venturing down from the north pole for some fun in the sun and visiting with kids from 6-8pm. Superheroes Spiderman and Captain America are flying in to mingle with children of all ages. The “Freaky Fiberglass 1^st Batmobile” will be available to check out. There will also be lots of prize giveaways and a special group of national anthem singers.

6 divisions will be in action in the racing program. The Brown’s Oil Service Late Models have 50-lap features on both the oval and the figure 8 course. Speed enthusiasts will also see competition from the Shelbyville Auto Parts Thundercars, Last Chance Wrecker Factory Front Wheel Drives, Circle City Pyrotechnics Junior Faskarts, Superior Finish Lawn & Landscape Legends, and Adult Faskarts.

Last year the Tom Wood Group and their corporate partners helped more than 3,000 children by raising over $40,000 collecting hundreds of toys and purchasing 150 new bicycles. This year the need is even greater. The goal can’t be reached without the help of community partners. The Tom Wood Group welcomes sponsorship partners to help with this drive for December distribution.
