IndyCar Series Drivers, Teams To Participate in Firestone Test on Oct. 17 at IMS

Six IndyCar Series drivers and teams will continue preparation for the 2019 season and the 103rd Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 26, 2019 by participating in a Firestone tire test from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (ET) Wednesday, Oct. 17 on the famed 2.5-mile oval.

This is a private, closed test. Drivers will be available for interviews after the test ends. Media are asked to report at 5 p.m. to the base of the IMS Media Center and will be escorted to Pit Lane after track activity ends by IMS Public Relations staff. Media must leave the facility after the interview session ends.
