JAY HOWARD

 Jay is a British professional race car driver who competes in the IndyCar Series and Indianapolis 500 and resides in Indianapolis, Indiana. Howard was the 2005 US Formula Ford Zetec champion (now known as the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship) and moved up to the Indy Lights series, where he captured two wins on his way to the 2006 championship for Sam Schmidt Motorsports in his rookie season. He qualified for his first Indianapolis 500 in 2011.

In 2012, Howard founded Jay Howard’s Motorsports Driver Development (MDD) in hopes of creating a unique program capable of taking drivers from karts to cars and then up the motorsports ladder. The success that Jay Howard Motorsport Driver Development has had almost from the beginning has been no less than remarkable. They have won the 2020 USF 2000 Championship with driver Christian Rasmussen. 

The team is always looking to expand with one day having an IndyCar team. This weekend at the Firestone Gran Prix of St Petersburg they will have 5 cars entered.
