After years of riding IndyCar’s revolving door of team and driver changes, Ed Carpenter Racing and Conor Daly have found some much needed stability in each other.

Following a year in which the 28-year-old driver ran a full season (albeit with two teams) for the first time since 2017, and one where team owner Ed Carpenter was with his seventh different combination of drivers in as many years, the tandem have found a way to continue the pairing born out of years of conversations before, during and after workout programs.

Together with primary sponsor, the U.S. Air Force, Carpenter announced Friday that Daly will again drive the No. 20 Chevrolet for the road and street course events, as well as the team’s third entry for the Indianapolis 500 for the 2021 season.
